I made a interest free promotional purchase from Circuit City on 7/13/04 for $xxxx. Xx The promotional period is for two years. I went back to C.C. On 7/19/04 and made a second purchase for $xxx. Xx. On 7/23/04 (3 Days later) I paid the second purchase off in full. Therefore leaving only the balance for the first purchase, which was interest free.
Circuit City and Bank One has been charging me interest for the second purchase for a total of $28.53 since August. They claim the second purchase was not a promotional interest free purchase. Although it was paid in full three days later they rolled the second purchase price into the first purchase price and started charging me interest on the second purchase of $xxx. Xx
After calling them they agreed to remove accumulated interest of $13.74 but would not remove the remaining accumulated interest amount of $14.79. This is consumer RIP OFF. Buyer be aware. Once this is paid for in full I will close the account and burn the Circuit City Credit Card. Never again will I do business with C.C. Or FNANB and or Bank One. It's not the money here, it's the principal of the issue.
