Terrible customer service, questionable laptop (Pavilion dv6)

I bought a Pavilion dv6 for $750 or so in March. I also bought a 4-year in-home-repair extended warranty for $400.

Its video cam either never worked or failed in June when I called I was not allowed by their 800 number to have an in-home-repair guy to be sent to either do a better diagnosis or to send out a new shell to swap in to repair this video cam, their insisting I either send in my machine for a 7-10 day turnaround to "repair" this video cam. They asserted the same when I called about this again in September.

Its internal mic failed in October, again no in-home guy could be sent and they asserted I needed to send this in to be repaired.

In November, a home run, I called saying my machine wouldn't turn on. They told me someone would call me back 24-48 hours, yet it is over 2 weeks since that call and no one has since called me back.

I had my hard drive replaced that same weekend I called them by a local company, for $300, which prompted me to call them to request a refund for the extended warranty I paid $400 for. I have been on the phone for over 7 hours in conversation with HP, and 2 guys have called me back, though each have needed to "check with a supervisor" about being -able - to return "over $325" for this refund, and one just needed to check with a supervisor.
