First of all, I would like to say that I have been a student at this school for a couple months and here is what I have seen:
1: a floor that was partially ripped up and then just left half done with glue all over the place covered in mats.
2: a school that is so run down the ceiling leaks all over the place, lockers are a joke, paint that looks gross and dingy, and tapestries hanging from the walls that look like something from the 70's.
3: educators that have to struggle to teach because the owners don't give all the students the new books when one comes out and they don't match.
4: a financial aid nightmare, they fired their financial aid guy because they couldn't afford to pay him. The new lady is even worse (yeah they can't afford one but they'll hire another)
5: being so short on staff you can't ever find anyone to help you when you need it, and when they do come over I can tell they are so stressed I feel bad asking questions.
6: students that are drug addicts let back into the school regularly. A girl was doing heroin on her lunch, came back and had to stop half way through a haircut on a client because she was so high she couldn't do it and she was let back in!!! Another one is so cracked out he barely shows up and when he does he gets welcomed back like he didn't disappear for a month. People smoking pot on their lunches and coming back ripped out of their minds and nothing happens to them.
There's so much more I could say, but it all comes down to this: don't go to his school. Their education is supposed to be so great... But it's not. It's confusing and too difficult to learn encore you take clients. Il half the time I have no idea what I'm doing, and I'm a fast learner.
Just don't go there, it's a horrible school with uncaring owners. They are just money hungry. They don't care if you graduate as long as they get their financial aid check. Half-a*ed work, half-a*ed students, only good thing is the educators. They work their a*es off for us and they just get pushed around.
