Recently received a bill from this "collection agency" requesting that I pay a debt. No evidence provided that I owe this debt. And after reading the numerous horror stories relating to this agency, I will not make the mistake of contacting them. They are trying to collect on out-of-SOL debts, apparently debts older than 10 years, and primarily originating with Sears. Pinnacle Credit Services appears to be involved in this as well, as their name is listed as Merchants' "client."
They obtained my address without my consent, as I've never initiated contact with them, or accepted any of their services previously. I have NO Sears accounts on my credit records, so this entire charade they are pulling is a clear violation of my civil rights.
Whether or not this develops into a class-action lawsuit, I expect to file suit against all three of these parties if they continue attempts at collection, or if they insert any inquiries or collections on my credit records.
I will follow this up with lawsuits against the credit bureaus if they insert any data linked to the above mentioned parties regardless of validation. It seems evident that they have conspired somehow in furnishing this collection agency my name and address without my approval, and that they are on the verge of granting this collection agency even further access to insert whatever fraudulent entries they wish onto my credit report.
I am eager and willing to set aside time to take action against these crooks.
