I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master in Seccondary Education. However my counselors did not tell me that to be certified in the state of Utah I needed to take two more math classes. I am now trying to enroll for those two classes.
I was told a week before class began that the university needed to waive the prerequisite classes. The counselor I spoke with told me she was able to waive some of the classes but not all. I asked her about the process she used to verify the prerequisites. She told me that she just waived them. I asked her if there was a process of comparing course descriptions from university catalogues, and she said no. I told her that was unacceptable policy for an accredited university. The accreditation of the University of Phoenix should be revoked.
