AED takes your money but they do not take any responsibility. Ripoff Hollywood Florida

American Entertainment is a company that is only interested in your money. When I contacted AED they sales associate where aggressive in getting my started in this business. Once I wired my money to them, it became very difficult to get in touch with anyone. Suddenly everyone was out to lunch or in a meeting. It took six months to install my machine.

The machine locks up every dozen or so rentals. When this happens the machine has to be rebooted. Customers are sometimes charged for movies the machine fails to distribute. The bottom line the Box Office Express fails to perform the basic function it is designed for; to rent DVD's. A DVD rental machine that fails to dispense the DVD's on a consistent basis is doomed to fail regardless of location, movie select, and or pricing.

I reported the technical problems to AED as soon as they began occurring. AED technicians are always on another call and fail to call back in a timely fashion. I have requested to speak to a member of management about my problems on numerous occasions. No member of management has responded. The closest thing I got was a guy named Ed who said Call the manufacturer, AED is not responsible. Great customer service Ed. Way to treat a $36,500.00 customer. My machine is placed at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado. It is good to know that not only does AED not take responsibility for the machines performance but they couldn't care less what kind of service the give to the men and women who defend our country.

My experience with AED has not been a satisfying experience to say the least. I am not alone. I know of several others who experienced similar problems. From California, Utah, New Jersey, and Colorado the problems are the same. AED is quick to take your money, slow to place your machine (that doesn't work), and fails to take any responsibility. AED had a great idea unfortunately great ideas alone do not make for a successful business. You must have a system which benefits all involved. This is why McDonalds is the most successful franchise, they have the best system.

I along with others am in the process of seeking legal action against AED to hold them accountable for their actions.
