Ripoff They took the payment in August of 04 and closed the doors a few weeks later, no phone call or anything about our seminar or money

I am a manager of a mortgage company in Colorado that was duped into "sponsoring" a seminar with Fitzgerald Seminars that was supposed to be in Oct. We sent them $5,000 and had about 50 agents that were already signed up to attend. They took the payment in August of 04 and closed the doors a few weeks later, no phone call or anything about our seminar or money. Once I didn't receive a phone call back after many messages and noticed that their website was down, I was smart enough to look at usacomplaints.com.

I have since been on the phone with the FBI and they have directed me to both the attorney genarals office in Colorado and more importantly Florida. The duty officer said that even though $5,000 was not enough to warrant an investigation, if enough of us contacted them with the same complaints the total of all the complaints maybe enough.

Join me in this effort, even though $5,000 isn't an extreme amount of money for us it is the principal of the thing. Lets not let this guy sail off into the sunset on his yacht, let's make it hurt, I think it is worth a ten minute phone call for a little payback, even if we don't ever get our money back.

By the way, we were lucky enough to have put this on an AMEX card and they have assured us that we will not have to pay for services that were either fraud or never delivered since they have to approve all of their vendors that take AMEX. This maybe another option for those of you that did the same.

So Mr. Fitzgerald I hope you haven't counted on getting away with this, I am going to do everything I can to make sure that you don't.
