I am a Financial Planner in Colorado that has been taken advantage of by Fitzgerald Seminars, Bob Fitzgerald, Lucy Fitzgerald, Ginger Sears, and Julie Pistritto. My associates and I were contacted in the fall of 2003 about sponsoring a seminar. We sent Bob almost $8,000 for a seminar that was scheduled for January. As the date approached the seminar had to be rescheduled for preparation/scheduling conflicts. The new seminar was scheduled for mid March. Upon our follow up of the upcoming seminar we were informed that the seminar had not been scheduled and Bob wished to set a new date for June.
Feed-up with the lack of customer service and follow-up we requested a refund three times. Bob approached us with many alternatives to the refund, however upon our insistence of the refund Bob promised you can expect the refund in early May. May has come and gone and we still have not received our refund. Unfortunately, Bob strung us along so long we now have no recourse to recoup our loss through our AMEX card. At this time we are seeking legal council to recoup our proceeds. The amount is not large, however we refuse to let Bob and his Family get away with this.
