Fairbanks like most of you started to deny my payments and send them back to me in july; only after i called them asking how we could get caught up because my husband was on workmans comp. My pay only covered the basics.
The woman put me on hold and said i could send one payment western union gave me the city code and state to send it to, then i could send the next one a week later, that she had given us an extension. Well 3 days later I recieved a call that the western union was sent back, I thought there was a problem with western union come to find out it was them refusing.By that time i had sent out the other payment. I called them, they told me they didnt have any info on my phone call and that noone would authorize that transaction. Okay, why would I send one amount if you need another and to a specific adress, in specific amount, through a specific payment co.
The next month we recieved a notice of foreclosure, i called their lawyers and explained what happened and they were really rude. Sept. 19th 2003 we were flooded out of our house. 31/2 foot of nasty river water and suage ran through our house;not to mention the hurricane winds in excess of 100 mph that up rooted trees and shifted our roof and heavy rains that came inside through the roof.
I immeditaely called fema, dema, insurance and fairbanks. They inturn tried to sheriff sale saying we abandoned the house, foreclosure, bankrupcy you name it thousands of $. The only way I know of to keep fighting them is to yell, call email, write to your local senators, congressmen ect. The more of them that know about this co and others like them; the louder we yell maybe they will be forced to do more to them.
It is a form of terrorism on our home soil, I fear companies like this just as much as those who attacked us 9/11. They are killing thousands of families every year and calling it business. Put our gov officials to work that is what we pay them for. Make people like us an issue, call or write one or many of them starting today.
