HCM charged me $1064.00 for a hair system. When delivered it was the wrong color. I was told this hair could be colored, relaxed, and treated like my own hair.
The day of the installation the stylists said it could not be dyed. While putting it in the stylist asked me what program did I want to purchase for them to take care of my hair.
The programs would cost up to $350.00 a month. I was told none of this at the time of the initial consultation. I was told I cld come back to the center for hair do's and that a replacement hair system would cost a fraction of the cost I paid for the first one since the mold had already been made.
At this rate I will be paying $4200.00 a year for shampoos, styling and 8 replacement heads of hair. I was also told I could go to other stylists in the area but that the hair would not be under warranty.
All I got for my money was a $300.00 wig for $1064.00. The kicker is that when you go back for shampoos they charge $75.00 an hour and you are expected to tip the stylist about $10.00 an hour.
On installation day I was asked to tip the stylist. I offered $5.00 and the consultant let me know right away this was not enough.
In any shop I've been in it is up to the individual if they even want to tip since you are paying the stylist for the hair-do.
The Hair Club For Men is a big rip-off.
