University of Phoenix only cares about getting tuition
I attended the University and I transferred in without a hitch. After a couple leave of absences, due to the terrible financial aid department, I finally completed my program. Once I sat with a counselor at the end of the program & I was informed I would be allowed to attend commencements but I had to sign up for community college and re-do some of my lower division units. I was never informed there was a time limit for completing these courses that I didn't know I needed. Once the courses were complete and I contacted the school I was informed that I only had 12 months to complete them (what!!!). I don't know how this could be possible but since I've taken longer then what they allotted they want me to retake some of my previous courses (paying them more tuition) because they've changed the curriculum.
