On January 4 and again on the 8th of January I recieved letters from Maggie Whitford congratulating me for exelent peotry. They also included author proofs that I looked over and sent back with the note at the bottom that they would be copyrighted to me and so forth. I sent them back to Maggie and have not recieved comformation that they were recieved nor any word on the book its self.
If what I have found to be true about American Poets Society I find that disturbing and it angers me that I may have been conned into giving my work to people when their real aim was to steal it and claim it as their own. I don't know how many other people they did this to but I found the link to their web site through PoetryConnection.net and sent it to several friends. They also sent in work and have had no further contact.
In this case of defraudment I would like to see my work returned to me. It is at this point in time it remains stolen property.
