As you are aware, American Poets Society advertises poetry contests on the Internet. People submit poems, then the APS sends them a letter telling them that their work will be published in an anthology, and that the contributor may purchase a copy for approximately $50.00. I received a letter from them advising me of this. I did not puchase a copy of the book, however. I know that others who have reported this site have, but I was sketical.in the letter they sent me, they informed me that the book would be called "Expressions" and they listed an ISBN as 0-9743429-7-1. I looked up this ISBN on Amazon.com, and it already belongs to a text that has been published by someone else. I believe APS is guilty of providing false information and have basically stolen some other text's ISBN number and are using it to steal money from people.
