A phone call came to my home in ireland stating we had won a 4,500 holiday. They wanted to speak to my husband and I together and phoned back the following day. As I was in company - it all worked very fast, they said we must give a credit card number for $420 per person to cover taxes or something. We still thought it odd, but in the heat of the moment agreed to pay.
When their 'package details arrived, we found we had to cover all flights from Ireland and it would cost us at least $5,000 incl. Spending money to avail of this trip. I phoned/emailed - complained and asked what they meant by 'won' a holiday and asked to get our money back. A lady called in August and said my credit card would be credited. When this did not happen, I emailed again and was told there is no refund.
They all the while insisted that no one from their company could have told me I won a holiday - that I booked a holiday at their discounted rate! So to-date, I am out of pocket $940. It was a total fraud and rip off.
