I am trying to get out of Sumner Collegeg (formerly College of Legal Arts) as we speak! Many don't know who they are now... They had such a bad rap they actually changed their name to try to swing some new business. Of course I didn't find this out until after I tried to leave...
I was told all through the admission process that the credits earned there would transfer to a four-year college or university. It wasn't until after I had signed some random paperwork that no one explained to me that I found out (by going to several "real colleges" and asking) that they had fed me a bunch of lies, and that NOTHING done at Sumner College is accepted by any regionally accredited (state schools, private four years, etc)... ANYWHERE.
Now they are trying to get me on the hook for several thousand dollars in withdrawal fees and "partial tuition" for the literally, less than two weeks of class that I attended.
