My husband and I ran a small home business providing internet programming and site design to small companies. We applied for and got a merchant account so we could accept creidt cards from our clients. We used IBill, a company we had a partnership with, to process our client orders.
Apparently, part of the merchant account was a lease for equipment from Integrated Leasing. However, we never received any equipment from them. Their 'bill' was taken out of our merchant account automatically and we didn't realize it wasn't just a service charge for the account itself.
When our company closed shop and we cancelled our merchant account, Integrated hit us with a bill for $3900 for equipment that we never received and never actually wanted, since all our payments were handled online by IBill.
You can't contact these people - if anyone knows how to contact them, I'd be thrilled to get the information. Thanks to these jerks, our house purchase has been thrown into fits.
