I have entered a Lease Agreement with Integrated Leasing Corp, a firm in New Jersey in September. I have rentet a credit card terminal with a market price of $280.00. During the next two years until September I have paid $887.00 plus a security deposit of $150.00.
In August the company that rented an equipment - My Mary Poppins had been liquidated. Therefore I have contacted Corey Saftler, President of Integrated Leasing Corp. Explaining the situation. From August until October we have been exchanging e-mails and I have forwarded all the necessary documentation concerning the liquidation of My Mary Poppins to Mr. Saftler.
Finally he had suggested I would contact their general council Steven S. Rothberg. Upon my phone conversation with Mr. Rothberg he had advised me to return an equipment to Integrated Leasing Corp. Promising me that upon receival of the equipment my contract will be cancelled.
I have sent a terminal via FedEx to Integrated Leasing Corp.in November. It was received and signed for by Mr. Saftler. I have tried contacting Integrated Leasing Corp. To receive a contract cancellation letter but was never able to reach a live person and my numerous messages were never returned.
Two months later, in January I started receiving harassing "payment delinquent" notes from Lease Finance Group, a division of CIT Financial USA I have contacted the company immediately and have spoken to Zachary, at extension 5720.
I have explained the situation to him and offered sending all the necessary documentation (FedEx receit with a signature and the rest) but he said it does not matter since Integrated Leasing Corp. Was purchased by Lease Finance Group in October and I am reliable for the contact with Integrated Leasing Corp. Even though I was led to believe it would be cancelled.
I feel that the fradulent action of Integrated Leasing Corp. Should be a responsibility of Lease Finance Group and they do not have a right to harrass me.
