I completed the recording program from Entertainment Connections 11. While in the program I was promised job placement, info about job openings, among other things. I was placed in a studio where I worked hard for a year as an intern. I Completed the program witch was a complete joke, just one text book, one work book with 20 assignments and a final test. I received a "certificated of completion" witch no one takes seriously, at all. After I completed the program I got in touch with Entertainment Connections about job placement. I was connected with a very rude women who told me I should ask my mentor (the engineer I interned for, no affiliation with Entertainment Connections) about job placement. When I told her that he didn't know of any open positions, I was told to send my resume and that they would contact me in a week or so... That was two years ago. I made several attempts to contact Entertainment Connections, each time I was told the same thing, "we'll get in contact with you when we find a place for you" I'm still waiting for that call/email. I decided to try and get a job on my own, so with my "certificate of completion" I applied to every studio from L.A. To Boston and got nothing but rejection due to my "lack of education and experience". So if you ask me I paid $7500.00 for a text book.
