I opened my BANKONE (Now CHASE as of 2 months ago) Visa bill today 5/9 and found $199.95 charge from AP9*Connections 888-868-6216 CT on 4/28. Had NO IDEA what it was. Called AP9 and could not get through so looked it up on Internet.
Found tons of complaints. I told Visa that this was a fraud charge and they told me NO. AP9*Connections was AFFILIATED w/CHASE. I find it ODD that I never had a problem with BANKONE then CHASE takes over and now I have been charged $199.95!!! Asked me if I had "forgotten" that I "may" have agreed to the membership?
NO, I would remember paying $199.95 for "Entertainment Membership" plus I am supposed to be on the DO NOT CALL LIST for telemarketing. CHASE then tells me it will take up to 28 days to credit to my account and since CHASE took over they have shortened my billing period to "20 DAYS" b/c I pay off the balance monthly.
How is this company "AP9*Connections getting away with ripping so many people off???
