I responded to a Craigslist job posting which advertised a Technical Writing position, providing my professional email address. A few days later, I received a form letter from Employee Recruit Portal in my *personal* (not professional) email inbox. I questioned this, as well as the return address, which was from Hotmail.
When I googled the company name, I found that others had been misled by this same company, under the lure of different jobs. Without proceeding in the application process, I marked it "spam" and filed this report.
Dodged a bullet! Whew!
