Apollo Group University Of Phoenix
Current student who is slowly learning that she is being ripped off

I am a current student of the University of Phoenix. I am using the Bachelor degree program to finish my studies on Accounting.
I enrolled with them because I thought it would make my life a little easier since i had done the classroom setting with my associates degree and had a hard time juggling school, kids and work.
I enrolled in July, which was two months after my completion of my associates degree from the local community college. My loan period ended in May for the community college. When I did all the paperwork for my financial aide and student loans to pay for my education I received a letter stating that everything had gone through and I would be getting my loans disbursed in July and December. Within a few weeks the time had passed for when my loans were suppose to have been submitted to the school but there was no evidence of this in my account information.
I called my financial advisor about this issue and he informed me that there credit corporation denied my request for loans because there was an overlap from my last school. As I said before, my loans at my first school ended in May, so how is there an overlap in July?
I have been enrolled in classes with UoP since July and here it is now October. My financial just went through and I am seeing added charges to my account that do not belong there. I am an accounting student and they seem to think that I cannot understand the information in my account when there are fees added.
After reading all of the other complaints about this school on here and seeing that most of us are having the same problems I am wishing I had done more research before enrolling in their program. Now I am stuck because they have already received my loans and I will not be able to reenroll in another school and get aide to cover the expenses.
