Not What They Advertise! Liars, Crooks, Uneducated In Tech Field! Liars, Crooks, Employees Not Tech Savvy, Arrogant, Unprofessional

New Horizons used me as a "guinea pig" and as a "learning tool" in how to sign up full time workers for classes. This came from the horses mouth; the General Manager who stated We're still learning. More importantly though, the owner is not a tech himself; also from the horses mouth. He has never held a tech job to save his life. That in itself blew my mind because one would think the corporate office of New Horizons in CA would want Tech minded people purchasing their franchises.

What took place since May of this year has got to be the most unprofessional way to handle a business my wife or I have ever come across. The owner has taken my money & basically run with it, having his staff put me into classes all at once with no hope of ever actually completing the exit exams, which is needed to obtain my certification or into a class I did not need whatsoever. When I requested money back not for the entire certification, but just the one class that I obviously did not need, the unprofessionalism shown towards me was mind boggling!

New Horizons has not lived up to what they advertise. They have ripped me off of $11,300.00. I met with the incompetent owner today & requested not my entire tuition back, but half. When I finally got a time schedule to meet up with the owner (It only took a month of nasty e-mails, phone calls, and contacting the corporate office) I had been given enough time to think it through & saw the need to ask back for more than my original asking price of $2000; I requested half back! I offered to purchase the books I was given, the time a recruiter spent looking for a job for me, and any vouchers I've been given. That came out to be half of the $11,300.00 I spent back in "08 up front. I was offered $1300, not even the whole amount for the one class I never should have scheduled to take to begin with! That was only 40% back! Needless to say I left the meeting, making it point to ask how they advertise. I was told by word of mouth. Well, here's my thoughts on the matter & by the looks of it, there are many other New Horizon students from around the country with nasty complaints too. I see a trend here!

I don't recommend this & request assistance in obtaining my money back! I've been lied too, sent in circles long enough.
