I, like many others, wanted something better in my life. I decided to pursue a career in IT starting with classes at New Horizons. I talked with the school and they made everything sound great. I took out an $8000.00 personal loan with the help of my in-laws and prepaid for all my classes and tests to become Microsoft Certified.
I attended 3 classes which totaled 15 evenings (5-9) and 3 Saturdays (8-3). I was given 3 books totaling 2218 pages! I was then told to memorize ALL of this for 2 tests! They didn't teach me a single thing, they read me the book!
I've complained MANY times to the 'teachers' and administration about this and asked for my money back. They told me that I was only entitled to less than $800.00 for the untaken tests, NOTHING for the classes I prepaid for and NEVER TOOK.
Beware, unless you are already proficient in computers/IT, DO NOT attend this 'school'. They don't teach you anything!!!
