I had been unemployed for a yer and a half when i heard about State National Training Services, Inc. They kept talking about "We" during the seminar, like if they were really a state endorsed trainng facility. I did the mistake of signing up without checking them out or I would have known they were a fraud from the beggining.
During the seminar, they explained that the program runs about 3-4 months, then they would help you with your federal resume, and job applications. If you did not get a job you would get a refund, and even if you did get a job, and somehow lost it within the year you could get a refund. Well, I stated in August and continued until AApril when I finally gave up. That was 9 months of pakets of homework, and i still had not heard anything about jobs or testing. So I called them and tolod them I wanted a refund. They said NO WAY. I then filed a complaint with the Federal trade Commission, and then I recieved a letter that it was my fault I did not finish the program in 3-4 months, so I could not get a refund and I still owed the balance.
I could not complete it in that time frame because they did not send me my pakets right away, usually 7-10 ndays, and once it took 2 1/2 weeks. So no it was not my fauolt. I have written a second complaint with the fFederal Trade Commission. We will see what happens. Please don't fall for their sales pitch, they are frauds.
