I got a CD (I think) in the mail from Columbia House. It was part of a "deal" (a "purchase committment contract") which I never remember ordering.
Anyway, I got one CD which was part of a 10-15 for $1 deal. Never got any others. Never ordered any. Started to get nasty "account Statements" regarding my "contract".
I told them that I would return the one CD. I asked which one it was since it had been 2 years. No reponse. I returned a CD after a return lable was sent. I still got letters and now the collection agency is hounding me for $78.28 to fulfill my "contract".
The collection agency will not deal with my above statement. I called Columbia but the taped message will not honor my selections. It said to e-mail a message. I went to the website and there is no way to e-mail. Why pay $78.28 for nothing except to keep my credit rating? Boo hiss.
