Young man came door to door and signed me up for 2 magazines totaling $124.00. I decided not to purchase and called company. Lady on phone said to send in receipts and complete cancellation notice on back of receipt. I did as instructed.
My check has since cleared and I am out $124.00. Received letter from Kate Clair Customer Relations stating they will refund money with copies of cancelled checks and my receipt for proof of payment. I don't have receipts since they were a part of cancellation notice. Its obvious they received my money since they would have ordered magazines and delivered them with me showing proof they received payment.
They are making me jump through hoops to get my money back. Futhermore since I don't have receipts for proof of payment it is doubtful I will get my money back. Will keep you posted.
