On July 15 a young man knocked on my door stating he was a student at the University of Florida working on a scholarship. After I origionally said no to his request for purchase he stated that the purchase could be used for childrens magazines and placed at the local Children's charities at the hospital etc. I did even after saying no again. Two days later I wrote a letter requesting a refund of my purchase as stated on the receipt.
I have just received a letter stating that they needed cancelled checks and proof of purchase. The man at the door stated that checks would not be processed for two weeks. They should have a record already of my magazine purchase on their accounting books so I should not have to provide proof of purchase, they already have it.
