After a very convincing seminar I signed up and was given initial materials to take home, with the remainder to be mailed to me. Then they had a 3 day training scheduled and I would need to give all kinds of personal information for an application for being assigned a "mentor". I was not given a chance to look at the materials before signing up, just a photo on a slide. The questionnaire was WAY too personal and I wasn't comfortable giving that kind of information. The materials did not include the complete books they had promised, but eBooks. One of the manuals was just comprised of sketchy materials, mostly downloaded from a web search, and bound into the book single sided... Not very complete.
The software which was supposed to be a $2,000 value, but free with the program, actually required a $39/month subscription... More expensive than the MLS.
I emailed to rescind the contract with them within the 3 days allowed by California law, and requested a Return Authorization for the materials. I received a reply after the weekend giving me the shipping address. The USPS confirmation showed it as delivered within the week. I called again to confirm their receipt and for processing my refund. I was told that it is handled by Accounting. I called many times and was never able to reach anyone in accounting. Finally I filed a complaint with my credit card company and the better Business Bureau. There is still no response from this company.
I returned the materials, never attended the course, got no mentoring, and am still trying to get back my $4,995.
