Similar to other stories here, I was signed up for classes a few weeks after speaking with an enrollment "counselor". After 4 days, I knew online scjhool was not for me so, I requested to drop and was told I would owe $178. I was billed for over $3,000 at first. I called and they supposedly corrected the amount to $391 - twice as much as they said they would bill me.
After 9 unanswered phone calls and abouit 10 emails, I contacted a lawyer through my employers's legal plan. Through the legal plan, an attorney attempted to contact UOP, again unsuccessfully. The only response she received was an accusation that she was not really an attorney. My legal plan has run out and they are now billing me for classes I never signed up for.
I have been trying to resolve this for months and no one returns my phone calls or emails. My attorney recommended small claims court, but how to I get them to stop billing me? I can't get in touch with anyone.
