Well, I an a contact trainer and worked nearly 100 hours of overtime for The Training Associates in 2007 and 2008.
I was told that I couldn't collect this OT, but then they paid another individual who was in my same position for their OT hours.
When I asked if I could submit these hours, I was told I could.
After 2 months of waiting for this pay, I was told that I would not be receiving it and if I would pursue it, it would be a bad career move. I went to managers, and now the President of the company, who apparently decided not to reply to my requests, even though all correspondence is documented.
One manager actually responded saying that I didn't turn the hours in on time.
I turned them in 1 day after I wad told I was allowed to do so.
So, it seems The Training Associates thinks they can skip out on paying hard working individuals. They benefit and make money while I stopped taking on-line classes to accomodate their mandatory work schedule.
