Transam Associates trained me and gave me employment that I am happy with! Internet

Transam Associates, Ripped off for training and hiring after passing their test. Can't pass test, can't get hired. Valrico Florida
I signed up with Transam Associates about 7 or 8 months ago. I was told that I needed to buy the MT Professional software in order to train and work for them after I passed their tests. I chatted with a specialist and told them that I did not have the money at that time to buy for the program.
The specialist then began explaining to me that they are just a training program and that they are offering me to work for them once I pass their training. I was excited and paid for the program with the money I didn't have.
I began the training and got more and more frustrated that I could not pass a test. I talked to my Aunt (a nurse) and my Uncle (a doctor) and they both thought that the testing process was extremely strict.
They entered me into a 'free' medical terminology course, which was a perk of my being trained to go to 'live work'. I took the course and passed with about a 96. I asked for a certificate of some sort and was told that I will not receive a certificate because the course was free. RIGHT THERE, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.
After not being able to pass any of the test given prior to my reason for this complaint, I was moved on to shorter dictations that would be better for me to do and qualify my quicker for 'live work'.
I received my first test this morning and the doctor was a completely different voice than what I was practicing for the last 3 or so weeks.
I am very aggravated and this was just the last straw. I would not recommend this company to anyone for work or even the training.
I will fight to get my money back to go towards an accredited training program so that I may move forward to working from home and spending more time with my child.

I've worked for Transam Associates for sometime. According to your own statements, it seems to me that they never lied to you. They offered you training and even free courses in Medical Terminology. They also have free courses in Grammar. They, of course, want perfection because that is what they offer the physicians we work for. I would hate to go to a doctor that would hire a transcriptionist that could mix up medical terms on my chart!

Of course they changed the dictating physicians. You are going to work for someone different than the sample dictations on the practice tests! You may experience several different physicians" voices in your career with Transam Associates or any other transcription company. Part of the training is to be able to transcribe from different doctors and understanding medical terminology from different voices.

As for getting a refund, if you read before you ordered, above the button you click to purchase, it clearly states there are no refunds. You made the decision to purchase. They did not force you. Once you decided to purchase software and download it, it's on your machine. I don't know of any software company that gives refunds once you have downloaded their product to you machine.

By the way, you should really use spell check, I found a few errors in your letter that spell check pointed out. The grammar course would have been a great benefit to you. As a patient, I'd be happy that Transam Associates goes to such trouble to make sure the transcriptionists they train are set to a high standard.
