Javelin Training Center Fraud, No hands on Training, Lied, Deceived, Lack of required equipment

I am presently a Information Technology Professional student at Javelin Technical Training. After being in the IT field for 7 years and relocating to Georgia I decided to enroll in this school to pursue my MCSA Certifications after researching schools and through that this school offered when I required. Hands on and Lecture Training along with the book knowledge. I was wrong. My first day at the school was a surprise as I learnt that 90% of the class was media base, 5% lecture and 5% hands on and they were training in Windows 2000 which was already retired from Microsoft.

As my week progressed I still did not have my books so at the end of the week I went to meet with the Executive Director. He was surprise and gave me his word that I would have my books by Monday. Monday I did get my books. At that same meeting I spoke with the Director - Mr. Clark about the problems in the class and about the software that was retired by Microsoft. He said that this program was an entry level program. I went on to say to him that according to what I paid for I was to be trained to take my MCSA Certifications which was not an entry level position. Weeks passed and after sitting in the class and hearing the frustration of the my classmates about how they did not have a teacher when they first entered the program to the fact that Javelin only pays for 1 exam towards your certifications. When I enrolled I was told that they pay for your certifications which is 4 exams for the program for which I am enrolled in. Immediately I went to Mr. Clark and he said yes they only paid for 1 but after talking with him he agreed to pay for 3 additional exams for me.

During the month of April we were told that equipment, new software - Windows XP and 2003 Server and books were ordered. During this time my instructor was using his personal software to allow use to continue with labs but weeks went by and nothing showed up. Finally the new media base software for 2003 came but no equipment. After weeks of meeting with Mr. Clark on an individual bases we decided to select student reps. For the IT Program. Upon selecting student reps we met with Mr. Clark several times before we ask him if we could meet with the Director of IT and Mr. Josh Taves. He said he will be the go to person as Mr. Taves could not deal with every issue personally and Seigo could not make the meeting. Week after week Mr. Clark pomised use a network Printer was order, equipment was coming. But to our regret just a few small items came. Now it is July and we finally got a meeting with the Director of IT, Education Director who is very new to the school and Mr. Clark, at that meeting it was agreed that we would get equipment and software by July 18 we have received some of the items but we await the remainder.

After that meeting I felt that Mr. Clark stringed use along for 2 months and 13 meetings. I felt that we was deceived because I believe in giving everyone a fair chance. I do not think that we were given a fair chance. After investing thousands of dollars and not getting what we paid for is absolutely crazy. How can they sleep at night? Is my question. We did not request anything that was not in the required course.

IT professionals out there tell me how would you get your work done on a hourly and daily bases if you did not have the internet. Seigo (Director of IT) claims we do not need the internet. All we asked for was internet access with downloads from Microsoft Updates and Google for researching problems encounted during lab. Seigo how do you get your work done??? Being an It Professional. Javelin's approach to this whole matter was, "it was working before what's the problem now"? Well Javelin maybe persons before just did not know what was required or what they were signing up for but we know just what is required, what we are getting and what is being feed to us. Well from person whom I spoke to it was not working but people just gave up. We are not about to gave up.
