It sounds like a scam, but I am unsure at this point. The check they send covers the expenses, and you receive a pay of $360 (evaluation/training pay), the remainder of the monies goes to making purchases as Sears, Walmart and Moneygram. What happens if I do deposit the check? Since no one I know would send someone a check for 1950.00 without first some type of contact prior to sending out this money. The letter and check just showed up! I did speak with an individual who explained the whole process and what needed to be done, however he told me he would tell me more AFTER I deposited the check. RED ALERT SIGNAL! Tell me all before I do anything.
So I await the BBB to see what they can find out.
