CEO/Owner of HJ Martin & Son owns several beachfront vacation properties in Egg Harbor located in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. One small problem, his boats are too big for water depth at these properties. He tried several times to contact DNR for required permits for dredging, all times he was told that he could not dredge to accomodate his watercrafts. He then went above the above the law & used his employees & rented equipment to dredge these properties illegally behind the Wisconsin Dept. Of Natural Resources' back. Dredged material which contains contaminates was dumped into woods, blown up onto shoreline, & trucked off to other locations. This occurred during fish spawning season as well.
This CEO/Owner is a very wealthy individual, is also a member of the Green Bay Packer Executive Board, and seems to think that because he has unlimited resources, that he can do as he pleases, even if it is illegal. If this is how he uses his company's resources & position in the community, is this the right company for your next project? He could end up breaking laws on your project & leave you holding the bag. Watch for his rebuttal, it will attack me & this file but not offer any explanation for facts contained in this report.
