This company is charging me late charges when I clearly mailed in my payments at least 2 weeks a head of time. They claim they process the payments the day they arrive. I don't believe them because if that was the case then I wouldn't have the late charges.
Ge Capital Cons is claiming that I have 4 late charges of 29. Xx a piece. I am being charged Finance Charges (interest) when I was to have an interest free account till January 4. I am being charged a credit card insurance that I did not request. They are telling me that I requested it because they have my signature. I tried explaining to the 2 individuals that the salesperson at the store asked me if I wanted the credit insurance and I said "No", but that box was checked anyhow.
I tried talking to GE Capital on this matter and all they would say was "oh well it's not my problem""this is what you owe us and that's that". When I demanded the insurance fee's and late charges be removed I was told that that couldn't be done and that there was nothing I could do about it.
I only hope that I can get the money I have been taken for back. I don't feel that I should be giving this company money for their mistakes. Can you help???
