This was the worst experience ever, my husband and I purchased our first home in year we thought purchasing new was the best for us since previously built homes were costing the same amount, What a mistake I wish we had continued looking or purchased from a different company the sales office has been in the area trying to sell these homes since 2005 in they haven't even sold 25% of the lots. We were ripped off at the closing table and was put in a bind we were suppose to get back 5,000 and only got 3,000 back. Deer Point switched warranty companies in the middle of the 1 year home warranty and did not provide us with any notification, we found out from another neighbor, the assement fee went up without any notification, and they stated the company we had to service the furance went out of business, it took almost a year to get them to lay seeds for grass down, they also switched landscaping companies a few times and it looked like they just hired a bunch of guys off the street corner. If you want to speak with someone within the company everytime you go to the sales office they have a new person there that's knows no history as to what the homeowners have been going through and they will not give you the corporate number you must speak with someone in the sales office and they will contact corporate for you and last but not least corporate is very rude, they never answer the phone once we were able to get a number to them and they do not return phone calls.
