In the beginning of I enrolled in the University of Pheonix, When signing up I told them that I only wanted Financial Aid and no Student loan. Well in the the month of June, is when we had exams. On June 11th I suffered a second heart attack and was put in the hospital for days. When I called them and told them that I was in the hospital they informed me that i still had to go through the exams or i would loose money, but my finanial aid should take care of the semester that I was finishing up on. So I still finished my exams and passed every class.
After comming out of the hospital, I called them back to let them know that I needed to withdraw at least for a little while. And they gave me the withdrawal and I filled out the form and left it like that. A few months later I recieves a Education loan payment book for to start paying back a student loan for close to 800.00. I feel like that I have been ripped off because I was told hat my financial aid should have taken care of the one semester. And if not at least some of it. But I am now left wondering where my fiancial has gone if I own back this much money to them in a student load. I am fustrated because It's money that is being wasted. And there are probably 800.00 that has been paid to them in Financial aid and they are trying to get more in the Student loan. I am now in the middle of checking on somethings to try to settle this mess. University of Phoenix is a Hoax.
