Sterling and King contacted my about a month ago by mail I called the number because I did not know what the account was for.
They automatical told me they are calling for Philadelphia County court, and are going to file suit if I don't pay such Debt by 3:00 that afternoon. The woman was very rude and acted like I owe her the money. At this point I perceeded to tell them that from that point on that the call was being recorded and asked to speak with a superviosor (not sure if spelled right). The superviosor got on the phone and started stating that they were going to sue me, I was going to be arrested, they were going to have my wages garnished.
I started telling him that he is violating the FTC laws and each offense is punisable by a $1000.00 fine per offense and tried to tell him what rules and he said "I'm glade you can read" and hung up. I have not really heard from them since but they called and left a message to call them.
