Im an owner of a small business and have had an excellent record as business accepting visa and mastercards from our customers! I was advised by v mail that i had over 4 grand taken and held by security based on a flimsy claim of fraud by a regular customer of ours who took a financial nosedive and made false claims of fraud stating he did not recognize the charges, so i accepted a check from the same customer as this was direct evidence that he in fact did know who we were and we accept business with this guy.
He used his credit cards, over 10 different accounts over the years, for approx 2o to 3ok in sales. My problem started when he charged back for several thousand bucks and i was told to send in the sales slips copies. I did so, i also sent in his driver license info, copy of a pnc bank check written to my business. The slips were perfect and in compliance, this i was told by the chargeback dept employee of best payment solutions. Securty agent tony dees was not able to be contacted as all of my other sales, several thousand bucks were placed on hold.
I could not reach tony in security, nor could i get em to call me back, i called at least 25x a day. His comment was that my phone didnt accept private calls, but yet i did recieve a voice mail from them in the beginning as this was how i found out i was being hit with a bullshit chargeback of over 4k. The problem is no one calls or communicate with me ie. The business owner, the funds are taken out of your account without knowledge ahead of time making it impossible to balance an account.
On top of that all of my subsequent credit transactions were on hold and i would not recieve those funds as income and i couldnt pay my subcontractors, and my income was on lock!!! Along with my account be overdrafted through the roof! Try going through all of this and being confident that this will be reconciled as the chargeback dept advised me that my reciepts were in compliance and that they didnt see how i could lose the funds due to this customer making false claims of fraud!
So it got much worse! I called security daily and was unable to even confirm if in fact they even recieved my faxed sales slips at all. This was a blatant smack to my face as i was a nobody to this company and my input was not relevant to them, but then the knockout punch came as they advised me that 80 percent of the 4 thousand dollars were returned to the customer!!! Why i asked the chargeback clerk? She said well, on one of the slips you put the total sales of 2500.00 dollars on the slip but didnt break the sales down individually as they were entered into the terminal!
I said well there were 17 total transactions totalling more than 3800.00 bucks and there arent even 17 lines on a standard credit card slip to enter that many transactions onto therefore i just entered in the total! She said i should have entered the sales onto 17 different sales slips! For each entry! I said wow, so if i go out to dinner or purchase some clothes i guess the store clerk should place each item ie. Cheeseburger, fries on separate slips? An not just run the whole transaction and total it up? The logic is insane here, these best payment people just sit here and listen then want to hang up, everyone has a different story and bounces you around from client relations to customer service, to security ie. Mr cool tony who doesnt answer the phone but did finally advise after absolutely zero communication with me that they were closing my account, turning off my terminal and i may have a few days of useage left!
Oh and they billed me 50 dollars per transaction to look at my account? Thats almost another grand!!! I guess they were looking at my account the whole time they wouldnt answer the phone, the amazing thing is, they dont even tell you of the current funds flowing through your account from other sales, and where those are going, and i could just imagine, if i was not able to get ahold of these people if one day i just would not be able to process credit cards as my account was cancelled! One thing is for sure, best payment solutions is gouging my account with fees!!!
And the fake customer that claimed fraud gets his doe back on his visa card to rip off the next business by making false chargeback allegations!!! This is nothing short of highway robbery, i feel like im an 80yr old elderly man on the side of a flordia highway as the hillbilly mechanics pull up to offer their help to gauge me for huge repair costs!
I work 18hrs a day! Im an ex cop, retired by the way, and im the good guy here, best payment profits off of a scumbag claiming fraud, best payments solutions billed me close to a grand here to view my account, profitable eh? And the bum gets his cash, in the end, my account shuts down, i cant take credit cards for who knows how long! Im going to a cash business!!!
Im going to the state atty generals office and seeking answers and i swear to everyone that reads this article, i am going to lobby for consumer rights to counter the dealings with these merchant scammers!!! There is no due process!!! And no communication! These people at best payment solutions, tony deis ie. Anton, and estella operate there department like a mexican jail!!! Gimmer your money and shut up! Stay away from best payment solutions!!! Tony in risk management, estella risk mgt.
They ruined my business for a long time to come! But im pushing local authorities, courthouse, fraud detectives, anyway possbile to enforce some laws here and at least aid in some legal way a remedy to get my doe back, as best payment solutions wont!!! They will slam dunk you!!! Theyre in chicago, tampa!
