A waste of time!

Luckly i was only with this company for 3 weeks before i opened my eyes and realized it was a big SCAM! I should have known this was a scam to begin with because i applied for this same position 6months ago, got the interviewand got invited to the 2nd round interview and i never told them that i wasn't coming or anything i just completly ignored the call the next morning. Well neddless to say i reapplied and got the call for the interveiw the next day.

After my interview i was told that i would be contacted if they like me and they called me later that day and told me to come in the next day in professional dress. Once i got there the next day i saw about 4 to 5 other people there that were going to be going out on the 2nd round interview. And i forgot to mention that i was told that i would be going out for my second interview with a training manager so that i could have one on one time to ask questions (which i never got to do bcause they kept telling me they would answer it at lunch) well there was another girl that came with us which really didn't bother me.

Well we had to ride in the training manager's car and answer all of these stupid questions. We were taken to richmondhill and i was pouring rain and we had to stand outside for hours and we weren't getting paid we were just there wasting our time. Anyway when it finally was time to go the guy that we were with wasn't ready to go because he was trying to make his final sell by this time it is getting dark and the gnats are eating us alive! By the time that we got back to the office it was like 7 pm and we still had to take a test so after we took the test and went in for the final interview it was like 9. Even after all that i decided to give the job a chance because i had no job anyway and something was better than nothing.

I started the job on that monday and once i got there i thought it was actually kind of fun. I mean it was loud there was music playing and there was loud screaming, i mean being a young person i thought this would be perfect for me. So i got to go to another event and it was at a walmart and once i got the swing of things i was actually beginning to like the job. It was like this for a few days.

During this time i never really got the understanding of how i would get paid and once i asked and got the understanding of what it was i went home and started looking for other jobs. They told me that i would be getting a portion of what i sold and it wasn't that much (it was only 35% and the rest went only god knows where). Not only that i had to go out and flat out lie to people and tell them that the crappy stuff were buying was going to help the CPEA Chid Protection Education of America which is a charity to help find missing kids from all of the stuff that we sold CPEA only got 5% of that so that means 60% goes only god knows where.

Not to mention i was told that the managers were making all of this money but some of them didn't even have cars and the owner shinon was living with one of the training managers that was a red flag for me. When i found out what car the owner drove and where she lived it really sound strange that this woman who made all this money would drive a car worthless and stay in a crappy apartment with one her employees. I tried my best to stick it out until i found another job but as the days went on it got harder and harder to do because people were dropping out like flies.

What really was the last straw for me was when i found out that i wouldn't be compensated for my gas and i was driving 2 hours away. But that isn't even the worst part i have yet get a check for the time that i was there. So i was pretty much working for free!

So if you ever see this job on careerbuilder, snagajob or anywhere else don't waste your time! You would be better off sitting at home watching tv.
