Our son was stationed in Jacksonville and started attending classes at Mr. Frosts Martial Arts school. Mr. Frost required our son to "sign up" for membership. Our son paid $125 cash each month only to discover Mr. Frost was also charging his bank card and withdrawing money from his account. Mr. Frost contined to claim it was ASF International, a billing company's fault this was occuring. Mr. Frost also assured our son this was a month by month pay as you go membership. Our son deployed to Iraq thinking Mr. Frost would fix his problem. Now as our son's power of attorney we have discovered even more charges were applied against our son's account however some months "cash payments" were applied to the account.
How could this be. Our son was in Iraq? We contacted both ASF and Mr. Frost for an explanation. We were told a contract had been signed by our son and he was required to pay monthly, however both our son and us are still being refused a copy of that contract to prove that. The claim was we could only stop these withdrawals by canceling the membership. We did so. Then they claimed we could not get a copy of the contract because we canceled the membership.!! This man and company is dishonest and corrupt. ASF International is also part of this scam.
I am sure our Marine is not the only one having been scammed by this individual who talks in circles and refuses to give answers. This man and this company should be thoroughly investigated. I am sure they are doing this to other unsuspecting Marines and young men in the Jacksonville, NC area.
