I was a victim of Charles Timmins President of Merrill-Adams Associates. I paid nearly $10,000 to have my career marketed. I was promised CONTACTS. I received no more than a mailing of my resume to recruiters. A list I found on the internet myself.
I damanded my money back. I was strung along for weeks on end. I finally showed up at their Conshohocken, Pa. Offices, to find that they closed up shop and were gone.
I answered an Ad for Personal Marketing Associates and made an aoppointment.
They asked me to send my resume over fax (they never did publish their phone number.) I sent the resume created by Meriil-Adams Associates.
I showed up at their fancy Offices and was told I would be meeting with the PRESIDENT, Charles Timmins. I was shocked.
He made a number of apologies and told me that Merrill-Adams had died. I told him it was he who took my money and he was responsible to pay me back. He offered me 1/3 of my original fee back if I signed a waiver dismissing his or PMA's responibility. I refused. I hope this doesn't happen to you. Merrill-Adams obviously was front name for The Timmins Group.
