Below is the letter I sent to the AZ State Board.
My question is: Will UOP Refund all the monies from the Federal Loan, although I was only in class for 5 days. They sent me a reimbursement (less $1557.00) check although I withdrew from the class on 2/25/08 and registered for the class on 2/19/08 a total of 5 days.

Dear Mr. Blanchard, Deputy Director
As per our conversation on 3/5/08, I have not receive a correspondence from the woman name Tondra Claiborne as you suggested. I have sent her two e-mails and have not heard from her.
I received a letter from University Phoenix Online stating that University Of Phoenix Online are retaining $1,557.00 from the Federal Stafford Loan Unsubsidized and Subsidized. I was only in the school for 5 days and registered for the classes as a mauricular student from February 19th and was forcibly withdrawn by Nancy Cervasio, VP, Student Services and myself on February 25 a total of one week, which was my last day of attendance.
Under the Federal Loan guidelines, UOP is to refund all monies not due to them because I was not enrolled or registered in class long enough for them to allocate any monies or for them to retain them. I have an e-mail from Nancy Cervasio, VP of Student Services stating "they will not charge me for the tuition'.
Prior to February 25, I have e-mail the facilitator Sheila Johnson of class GEN 300 to which she was the one over-seeing the course and I have a copy of the e-mail as evidence.
I was not enrolled in any classes in December until January 18 as stated on the statement from UOP.
For your convenience, I have attached a copy of the e-mail for your reference.
I would appreciate that you would look into this fraudulent matter concerning UOP.
