I attended the Univeristy of Phoenix on line for a year and a half. I had a federal stafford student loan. During my enrollment UOP never once told me my student loan did not cover my expenses at UOP. They let me keep attending classes and then when I was in my sixth class in criminal justice they informed me I would have to pay $3500.00 dollars up front before they could enroll me in anothe class. After speaking with the so called loan officers at UOP I found out I had been out of money for a long time. I refused to pay as they are responsible to let the student know when the loan amount does not cover the course before they enroll you in the class.
They turned me over to a collection agency and I am being force to pay back this money. Don't trust them they are crooks.
