Homes Relief (aka) Hrnational
Homesreleif, hrnational scam. Crooked, will steal your money, change name of company, and act like they never knew you. Dont know how they are able to get away with this

I found homesrelief while looking for a apartment on craigslist. I called the company formally known as homes relief, paid $149 with my credit card and was promised a refund if I decided this program wasn't working for me. After time and numerous problems logging on/password, I began to look at properties. I realized I was misled and that It would take so much more time and energy then I anticipated. Homes relief did not explain accurately the full process. If I knew exactly what the process was I would have never wasted my time, let alone give $149 that I don't have for nothing in return.

When I first contacted them, I was a bit leery. I felt that this was too good to be true. I was excited and asking questions from the homes relief representative. The last question I asked was, "why don't people know about this company"? There was a pause, and then he hung up on me. This was definitely a sidle sign, but I wanted to believe, lol.

After a few weeks I was finally able to log on the website. I read the process, and immediately realized that this would be extremely risky and I would have to be ignorant to try. I would have to trust complete strangers (homeowners I don't know). There program involves obtaining occupancy, making payments on the mortgage, and the lender is left in the dark. It would seem almost impossible to find owners willing to go along with this, as they would have to trust me as I am a stranger to them. I could see this working with an immediate family member, but not at all with strangers.

I wanted a refund. I read the refund process and saw that they intentionally made it difficult to obtain. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to complete this refund request online. I knew this was to hold people's money longer and make more on the interest from many people who paid $149. I knew that many people would procrastinate and probably even count the $149 as a lost. Many people would pay that amount to avoid the time, energy and headache required to get your money refunded. This was a strategy of this company I thought. When I finally had time to pursue my refund. I realized that this company no longer existed. I had no way to contact them except for the obsolete email I had.

I emailed homes relief and got a delivery status notification failure or an automated response. I left it alone for a while. One day I got a phone call from a company called hrnational. The representative was a lady. She explained what the company was about and it was identical to homesrelief. I asked her if she was affiliated with homes relief. I could sense the guilt in her voice. She said that she didn't believe so. I asked how long she has worked for hrnational. She said for 5 years. I was at a grocery store so had to make the conversation short. I asked for a contact number. Later on I called that number and found out that she gave me a bogus number. I heard an automated message saying that this number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

I typed homes relief in my search engine and found rip off report. I found others people who had been ripped off by this company. I found out that homesrelief is now hrnational. I found hrnational website and noticed that the webpage was identical to homes relief. Same pictures and everything, except for the name. I tried to log on with the username and password I had for homes relief. I was unsuccessful. I pressed the link: forgot password, which didn't do anything except refresh the page. Hr national is undoubtedly the same company as homesrelief. They are obviously crooked and beating people left and right. I don't know why they are able to get away with this, as it is fraud. I would think they would face jail time, as they are clearly robbing people.

I wonder how often they change their name. I don't know what to do. I would like my refund as well as compensation or interest for holding my money that long. I want justice. They should pay for what they did. I have proof that I paid them $149 and never received a refund, as it is reflected on my bank statement. Hopefully there will be enough people that care enough about the fraudulent activities of homesreleif/hrnational, to file a report; which will hopefully lead to a class action suit.

Sincerely,

Dana
