I was told by my Collins rep that I would learn TRADITIONAL animation, and that my credits would be transferable to any college. I moved 3 states and got here to find there was 1 class in traditional, and the rest were computer courses! But by now, they were already paid, and I hasd moved, so decided to make the best of it. But it continually got worse; little or no supervision/teachers in class, computers constantly going down, software not getting updated, not too mention the nightmare with the student housing! I was roomed in the ghetto with a smoking nutjob who stole my playstation controllers and held them for ransom! Once I graduated, there was NO assistance in finding a job, and calls would go unreturned, now i am practically non-existent to them, save for the continuing loan bills. I have a useless degree that I'm almost ashamed to put on my resume, convinced it will garner snickers rather than recognition. Their reps are slick, and will say anything to get you to sign papers, please don't fall for it! I know that you only get out what you put in, but you get nothing when you give 100% in Collins. And from what I hear, it's status quo there, 5 years later - students teaching the classes, hardware malfunctions, and general displeasure. The only good thing I got? I met my husband there.
