On July 16 I ordered my bridesmaid dress via phone since I live out of state. I gave my measurements, was told I would need a size 10. I insisted that I am not a 10 & would prefer an 8. The dresses were in withen 2 weeks, yet no one, including the bride, was contacted.
The bride happened to stop by the store in Oct. 2002 (4wks prior to wedding!) and learned the dresses had been in. The store manager's excuse was that they tried a number, didn't get an answer, and their policy is to only call once.
The number they dialed was not the same number listed on the bride's contact sheet. Clearly their mistake! To make matters worse, the bride's dress was missing the breast padding that she ordered (they did offer to let her buy a $90 bra to make up for it), and out of 8 bridesmaids gowns, all were extremely too big.
Mine is clearly a 13/14 and is now costing me an additional $90 to have it altered where I live. The worst part of this whole ordeal is dealing with the staff at the store. Extremely rude and not helpful. Do not buy a dress here!!!
