This morning 5am, I took the phone off the charger, it said I had 117 units left. At 11am I tried to call my boss, the phone said 0 units. I called the 1-800-867-7183 number on a land line. They told me they had no record of my units being erased. She asked me if there was anything else she could help me with. I said yes, give me back my units. She said no. I said, so just throw the phone away? She said yes. End of conversation. 117 units is $45 worth of time. On all the phone documentation, there is no address of the company, so I have no way to write a complaint and mail it to them, this is the only avenue I have found so far.
Now I have a useless phone, am out $45, and found another company that will do nothing to retain their customers. I have no suggestions for another cell provider. I've been ripped off by this one, and that fact doesn't bother TracFone at all. People need to be aware, and this is my only way of maybe helping someone else.
