Give directtv your hard earned money and you get nothing

On 12-06 direct tv sent a installer to my home to install their system.By the way directtv had deducted from my bank account a $200.00 deposit. It the transaction less than a day to be completed.By the installer being at my home at 8:00a. M on that saturday all financial responsibilities had been
completed.

The installer worked for a total of six hours wiring and connecting everything that need to be done for me to recieve directtv in my home. This includes drilling all up and down in my two story home. Floors, walls, inside and out.

At around 2:30p. M the installer says we are almosr finished, just need to set your t. Vs up to recieve and set your channels, which he does. He goes outsideand comes back in my home and says to me I have to deconnect everything and take our stuff back. Of course I say why? He states he has no idea, he just got a call that says stop, take everything out and leave. When he finishes doing that he states here is a number you can call to see what is wrong I have never had this happen to me before, I said to him did anyone tell you why hes states no they just said take it out and I work base on the job, so this is a whole for nothing.

I called on my cell phone for two hours while my brother called on his cell phone for the two hours never to get any person that knew anything. The installer waited for about an hour in hopes that someone would clear up the problem, it never happen.

At around 6:30p. M one operator from directtv gave me a number to contact the fraud unit, which ended up being the next day because she works until 4:00P.M. When we got intouch with this lady she stated that she needed a copy of my sons ID, the account is in his name my christmas present from my son since he now works his first job. He told this lady no problem. Copies
sent two days later.

After about a week, I called the 800 number no one knew nothing. On 12-23-07 called directtv and asked them just deposit my 200.00 back the same way you took it out, no responds. On the 29th called asked again to br refunded my deposit nothing..

In January I started e-mailing the customer service department three times. The week of the 22nd I finally get a responds to call Ms. K. What do I get her answering machine.

So I call 800-531-5000 speak to a human (Fran) tell her the story again for the 9th time, state to her I want no services of directtv just my money back.

She has the nerve to tell me the computers just went down, but should be up in hour so they told her and she would make sure that my deposit was returned.

I asked for the address and name of the headquarters of directtv and the next in line above the Vice President. She knew no names of course and gave me a address that I do not know if it is correct or not. P. O Box 6550, Greenwood Village, Colorado 80155
