I sent for the free trial teeth whitening treatment; I gave them my credit card # for the only charges for mailing. The next thing I see, about 6 weeks later, is a charge of nearly $80 to my credit card, in addition to the mailing charge of the trial supply.
When I called them to protest, it took at least 30 minutes for someone to answer the phone. And apparently the rip-off works this way: they hook the unwary customer by offering a free trial; get their card #, and if the customer, who's not aware that by signing up for a free trial he's signing up for a series of monthly supplies at outrageous prices, does not cancel further shipments, he's stuck with a huge charge for which there's no recourse, according to the person who finally answered.
This company needs to be blacklisted.
